  1. Hi,
My first month as District Governor literally flew by. It began with me returning from Sydney, Australia, after attending District Governor Training and International Convention. I then took in events with Waynesboro Lionesses, Rouzerville Lions, and Lurgan Twp Lions. Mid month, I attended PA Lions Appreciation Day at Beacon Lodge. The campers sang their hearts out on a hot Sunday afternoon. Hot off the press were the District Directories, I picked up that afternoon, as well. It is one thing to work on the Directory, sending emails back and forth to Editor Lion Kathy. It is another to have the finished product in my hands. Speaking of hot, thanks again to all who attended the Club Officer Seminar and District Reorganization Meeting on July 24. I now know the Marysville Lions Club Building is not air conditioned. End of the month, I was able to attend my home Clubs' family picnics and catch up on the news. It is now August 1. Stay tuned to hear what's happening in the life of your District Governor.

  2. I attended the Community Service Clubs lunch today as part of Old Home Week Activities. The Lions were well represented.
Congrats to the Greencastle Lions for receiving Honorable Mention for their window display as part of Old Home Week Festivities. Thanks to PCC Dr Terry Musselman who created the display. I enjoyed the Flower Show sponsored by the Greencastle-Antrim Lioness Club. Great job ladies in sharing information about your Club in the program.
