Today we said goodbye to PDG Harold "Pete" Miller. It was the first time I was included in the Service of Remembrance for a Lion who has passed. It was an honor to be among other Lions paying our respects to a man who gave of himself so selflessly for others. His dedication to Lions was and will continue to be an inspiration. Lioness Joan will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Words from the Service of Remembrance...
"It takes a person with compassion in his heart to sacrifice his time and talents in helping others."
From what I learned about him today, he was that kind of person.
